Resort Rules

REGISTRATION – Everyone must check in at the office for a vehicle pass before driving into the camping or cabin areas or be charged a $5.00 fee. Night or late arrival registration is available at the lighted night desk.


DRIVING WITHIN THE RESORT – Speed limit is 5 mph, about walking speed. A parking lot near the office is available for speeders. DO NOT drive across any open space except the winter parking lot, the Shelter Tenting Area or the Wilderness One group camping area. No joy riding is allowed in the Resort by anyone. DO NOT drive down to the valleys. Drivers must be licensed. Riding ORV’s within the Resort is not permitted. Snowmobiles must stay on the plowed roads and connector trail. Operators must be of legal age to operate a snowmobile within the Resort.


CAMP FIRES – All campfires must be confined within the established fire-rings. Do not throw garbage or trash in the fire rings. Fire rings are for burning firewood and paper only.


FIREWOOD – Cutting of trees or branches for any reason is PROHIBITED. Contact the office if there is a branch causing problems. Firewood is available at the Store. No fire wood may be brought into the Resort.


GROUNDS – Digging, trenching, rutting or damaging the grounds is PROHIBITED; including damage done by pets.


PETS – Pets are not allowed in any buildings – State rules. Aggressive dogs or breeds PROHIBITED. Dogs must be on a leash, in the control of the owner and picked up afterwards. Mowers do not like dog droppings. Dogs must not be left unattended in a camper or on the campsite. DO NOT tie or chain dogs to trees or close enough for them to wrap around a tree.


MUSIC – Music is a personal choice. Keep your music within your campsite or cabin at all times or use earphones. Don’t force your choice on others in the Resort.


QUIET HOURS – 10:00 p.m. through 9:00 a.m.


GRAY WATER – Dumping gray water other then at the Dump Station is PROHIBITED.


PICNIC TABLES – If you move a table or a bench from another location, return it before you check out.


FIREWORKS – Fireworks are PROHIBITED in any form including sparklers – this is a fire and safety rule.


STATE RULES – No pets, smoking, or washing clothes or dishes are allowed in restrooms. Use or abuse of controlled substances will not be tolerated - law enforcement will be called in when found.


ADDITIONAL POWER – Plugging into a power outlet other then for your campsite will result in a charge for that campsite.


COMMON SENSE & COURTESIES – Crush out cigarettes and dispose of them in a container, not on the grounds. Accompany small children to the restrooms and water locations to be sure water faucets are turned off and toilet is flushed when finished. Check up on mid aged children also so they do the same. Teach them quality camping. Do not use firearms, air guns, BB guns, arrows or other projectiles within the Resort. Small children should be supervised at all times.


SEASONAL SITES – It’s your job to keep the site neat; we will do the mowing & trimming. When you leave, pick up and put away anything that will interfere with mowing and trimming. That includes power cords. We drive over most fire rings; do not line with stones or leave partially burned wood or other objects above the ring surface.


FACILITIES - We try our best to maintain all our facilities. Please report any problems to the office; we prefer things to work right.

Resort Rules

This property is privately owned. Owners and management reserves the right to refuse service to anyone and will not be responsible for accidents or injury to guests or for the loss of valuables of any kind. Cabins are subject to a security deposits. We reserve the right to evict anyone from the premises for disturbing the peace, other campers or guests or for violating the rules.
