3 Group tenting areas are available. The Shelter, Wilderness I & Wilderness II
Which one? That’s the question*.
Each of the group tenting areas can be use by only one group at a time.
These areas can be reserved for your group. If they are no reservations, individual campsites can be set up in these areas.
Wilderness I & II are further from the restroom facilities then the Shelter area.
All group areas can have small RV’s mixed in with the group but there are no hook-
The Shelter is across from the pull-
The Shelter area has proven quite popular when part of the group are in RV’s & want
hook-
Like for family reunions.
It is also close to the Camper Cabin & the Housekeeping Cabin for those wishing to join the group but have no camping equipment or RV.
Tent / canoe groups are the most popular & the liveries pick up right here at the front of the Park Store.
Lots of space to spread out at the Shelter
Tent / Canoe groups are encourage to make reservations early in the spring as the liveries get very busy on the weekends.
Camping rate for organized groups starting with at least 12 persons is $12 per person. This is aimed at couples or singles. If the group is a mix of those plus children we extend a 10% discount on the daily campsite. To qualify a group is represented by one person, a leader, that collects from the members, makes the reservation & pays for camping at the office. We can supply forms to assist a leader in keeping tract of members that sign up with them.
*We recommend a visit to select the tenting area that appeals to you
